Erik J. Willman is an Associate Attorney whose practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including construction defect, professional liability, and labor and employment matters. He represents clients throughout all stages of litigation and claims handling, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, hearings, site inspections, mediations, and settlement negotiations. Mr. Willman also assists with trials and appeals.
Before joining Shendell & Pollock, Mr. Willman spent more than a decade litigating complex construction defect matters from the pre-suit stage through final resolution.
During that time, he developed case strategies, coordinated the involvement of technical experts, and maintained close communication with clients, insurance carriers, and experts throughout the life of each claim.
Mr. Willman also served as an intern with the National Labor Relations Board, where he investigated unfair labor practice charges, interviewed witnesses, and drafted recommended dispositions. That experience provided him with valuable insight into labor law and the administrative process.
